Rails + UI Developer - Full-Time

Preact is a data-driven customer success platform that presents actionable user behavior insights directly within leading CRMs, help desks, live chat, and even internal IT tools to ensure that critical information is available during every customer interaction.

We're a funded LA-based startup with an awesome initial team already in place. With big plans, great companies on board, and some awesome investors and advisors, we're ready to take on the challenge but we need YOU to help make it happen.

We're looking for a great rails developer (with some front end chops like extensive backbone/javascript experience) to tackle visualization and interface implementations. We work quickly and are looking for someone who can catch the vision and tackle every challenge we throw at them without any handholding.

We're on rails and you'll be working directly in that environment, writing ruby, haml, sass, javascript and working with APIs where necessary. Here's what we're looking for:

• expert-level ruby, haml & javascript (with backbone.js experience)
• creative thinker, excited to take on tough problems
• an interest in design, user interface, and a passion for great user experience
• a solid understanding of charting libraries like d3.js

We're located in Los Angeles (Westside) and you should be too (or willing to relocate). Relocation assistance available.
